Canvassing for the Window cleaning industry

If you need £1,000 per month generated from your round, it would cost £2,000 to put that together for you plus any fuel or accomodation costs.

Method:

As our name suggests, 'doorknockers' we call on every home or business in a given area to maximise customer sign ups, we usually sign up 1 house in 10 that we have contact with.

We can build commercial/domestic or purely Domestic rounds.

We are not at present set up to develop commercial only rounds, but we will look into setting up a commercial development team later this year and will update this site when we are able to do this.

You can stipulate the type of customer you require in exactly the area of your choosing.

You can also set the price that you are prepared to work at.

'Doorknockers' have been set up to 'tailor' your round, to your exact requirements, and not the other way round, i.e. in the favour of the canvassing company concerned!

You can add to your round as and when you need additional customers.

Any customers that cancel would be replaced by a similar or identical customer, a cancellation is classed as a signed up customer that hasnt paid the window cleaner 2 times.

The cancellation rate is Generally around 5-10%, cancellations are usually replaced by new customers who call us days weeks months and even years! after we have been to your area!

A cancellation is a cancellation, if they have not stayed with you for 2 cleans, however if a customer has been cleaned once and then cancels, that is classified as a half cancellation, and if they have cancelled due to the w/c not turning up or the customer not being happy with the quality of the clean, 'doorknockers' will not accept liability for such instances.

Invite us down to your area for a 1 Day trial sampler of our service, this is of minimum risk to yourself, 1 team can usually sign up £300 per month per night, so a 'trial' would cost you £600 plus any fuel for Distance/time over our 50 mile radius.

We expect payment in cash on the night, however you are able to accompany any one of our sales team, to assess the quality of the work or be introduced personally to all customers signed up at the end of the evening.

Once you have cleaned your customers, they double in value overnight!

The accepted industry 'price' for a customer is x4, so buying your customers at x2 means you are assured of a 100% profit overnight, once you have first cleaned them and put them into a round order.

If your price for a 3 bed semi is £7 or below 'Doorknockers' rate would be x3 or £5 for a 3 bed semi, then it would need to be x4.

Purely from the point of view earnings for our staff, they would obviously have to work twice as hard at the £5 rate to achieve the same wage at the £10 rate, this scenario comes into play usually for rounds from the midlands upwards, if unclear on this call Paul Bass to clarify on 07862 271852

logistics:

If the distance is over 50 miles from Cambridge, our base, then Accomodation would need to be provided, either a B&B or a spare room in the locality for a team of 5 canvassers, fuel is taken into the equation at actual cost there and back.

Also any distance over 50 miles for one day trials would be £2 per mile over the 50 mile distance, so if you are 150 miles away it would be £200 extra, this is to cover time spent in the car of course, which would be 6 hours for the described distance
